When traveling for my old job I would frequent Palm Springs in the dead of summer. It was seriously sweltering and I always had to start hydrating about a week before I knew I would be down there because the desert nearly sucked the life out of me. Nevertheless I enjoyed every minute of my time spent down there and now wish, with spring in full bloom that I could be lounging at the pool and taking in the design of The Parker, where I would almost always stay. The Jonathan Adler designs in the bedrooms were perfection.
